Just this last Friday I was able to go to the Draper, UT temple with my aunt, mom, older brother, and grandparents. Me and my brother did baptisms for the dead while the others did sealings. We had been planning it for awhile but it seemed like every time we would have it planned, something would come up or get in the way and we would have to reschedule. Sometimes that happens and so this time we decided that no matter what... we would make it. And we did! On the way up there it was already pitch black and pretty late so the temple was already lit up all nice and pretty! About 10 minutes before we got there, we had some music playing to have the spirit with us and prepare us and stuff like that. So here is a link to the song we played below. It is called "I will rest in you" Click away, you won't regret it:) https://youtu.be/e_Tn0CHG4G0 As the song was ending, we finally made it and could see the top of the temple that showed the angel Moroni. It's hard to put into words what I felt but just how the temple was lit up and glowing I just thought of the light of Christ. I physically felt so much peace and love that it was overwhelming. I've been thinking a lot about that experience and what exactly I was feeling. I know it was the Holy Ghost telling me like "Yeah, you are meant to be here." As soon as I entered the door, I just felt at home. I felt loved. I felt peace. Click the READ MORE button!:) As soon as I entered the doors, I felt at home. Dieter F. Uchtdorf said it best (I also shared this on my Instagram @_simplyness_) "Being here at the temple, it's for me like coming home. When I go to the Salt Lake temple, it's coming home. When I go to the Swiss temple, it's coming home. When I go to any place around the globe--what country it may be-- when we step through the door, it's coming home." I have a testimony of temples that I know they are a light on a hill. They are the light in our lives. I know that if we make it a priority to go often, we will be blessed for it. I love this gospel. I absolutely love temples. They are so great.
Have a great rest of your Sunday and upcoming week!

I have such a strong testimony of temples as well as you know by the trying trials it has brought me through! Only only gone 3 times since I have been endowed, each time I have had been blessings brought to pass that have been the answers to my prayers many times! As well as strengthening me to continue to get thy those same trials besides many more!

Ponderize Of The Week:
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." - James 1:5-6 Quote Of The Week:
"Give it to God and go to sleep." - Unknown |
